Windermere has long had the philosophy of providing its clients with as much information as it can to help them make the most informed home buying decisions possible. In a new step along that path, we are adding Quick Response (QR) codes to many of our published materials. QR codes, similar in principle to the bar codes on virtually every product that you buy, are compact symbols that contain encoded information. For our use, each symbol will encode the internet address of a dedicated web site for one of our property listings that is optimized to be viewed on a small screen. Anyone with a smartphone containing the necessary decoding software can read the QR code. They will be taken to the web page containing information about the property, including a description, the features, photos, a location map and school information. QR Codes will soon appear at our Kitsap Mall Kiosk and on flyers.
